Having Jenny & Waris (from Hongkong) for a pre wedding shooting was like having good friends from abroad coming for a visit.
They were totally relaxed and ready to do just about anything. The next evening Jenny & Waris invited us (Diana, daughter Stella and me) for dinner at our favorite comfy restaurant Arena in Sanur.
We had a great time and surely will meet again for more hours of chat and laughter! -Windee-

No, this is not in the middle east nor in India.
This is Freedom & Damien’s wedding at Pranas/The Villas. Exotic setting, exotic couple (totally nice and friendly by the way…), exotic outfit.
So enjoyable that Windee, the photographer, came home with hours (make that days, or even weeks) lasting smile.
Freedom is a professional photographer in Australia.
Visit her fabulous website www.freedomgarvey.com (might be in construction at the moment).

Julia gave us a call to book a pre wedding photo session for the next day. and that was 20 minutes before she and Gilroy flew to Bali for a short vocation. as suddenly as it might seemed but the next day they were really having their pre wedding photo session with us. Julia was so nervous because this photo session was a new big thing for Gliroy but they did great and being themselves was just what they had to do to have all these wonderful pictures - Nda M. -

Lovely, very friendly couple Natalie & Jeffrey are from Hong Kong. My wife Diana, who did Natalie’s Makeup, said Natalie told her Jeffrey is very tall, but didn’t really realize it until Jeffrey showed up. They had their ceremony mid day at the newly launched Infinity, a private wedding lunch at Conrad’s Spice restaurant, tea ceremony, cocktail by the pool and private dinner at Conrad’s Eight Degrees South, where they also had their after dinner party. That’s a nice place to choose, because that restaurant is placed by the pool. Yes, they jumped into the pool. Natalie, a fan of all kinds of sports including water sports, flipped backwards together with her brother into the pool!

Egnes and Isaiah from Jakarta had a pre-wedding photo shoot two days before their ceremony. They wanted to have a photo with a Chinese look, so we took some pictures outside a Chinese restaurant. After that we went to a Beach in Uluwatu to take some more pictures.

On the wedding day Egnes wore a gorgeus wedding gown with beautiful accessories. The wedding ceremony took place at the Tresna chapel of The Ritz-Carlton, where we took some more pictures of just Egnes & Isaiah on a Photo Tour around the Resort. We had nice sunset photos. For dinner we headed to Ma Joly restaurant, where we were entertained by a fire dance.

Brides! There is another new opened extraordinary wedding chapel for
Bali! Walking between water, elevated 2 meters above the ground, looking towards this huge triangle, it felt a bit surreal, like I wasn’t really on earth. It is just amazing!

Came all the way from Hong Kong to have their pre wedding photos taken in Bali. They jumped here and there, were opened for all sort of ideas, and brought tons of ideas themselves. Michelle is a wedding expert so said Frankie, and I second that :).
A really lovely couple, we love them from the first meeting.

The Bulgari Resort is the second (the first one is the Bulgari Hotel Milano) of a brilliant new series of hotels and resorts in prestige locations around the world, and we had the pleasure to cover the opening, for worldwide press publications.
Another spectacular resort in Bali…

The colour theme of Eleanor & Matthew’s wedding is turquoise. Everything from Mathew’s tie to Eleanor’s gown was decorated in turquoise, providing a contrast to the colours of the traditional Balinese decorated wedding venue.

Mila, Indonesian origin, and Zach, Philippines origin, lived in New Jersey but recently moved to New York. The ceremony took place at the Nikko garden, elevated some 50 metres above the beautiful beach of Nusa Dua, where they had their wedding dinner accompanied by all sort of traditional dances and music performances.

Jenn and Mike of Canadian origin were based in the Maldives. They went initially for a vacation to Bali, then they decided to build a villa and after that they decided to get married in Bali! They chose one of the most spectacular wedding venue in Bali: Tirtha Uluwatu, which newly expanded with their bigger Tirtha Luhur. One thing I like most about taking wedding photos there is that the colors are pastel soft.

Kaysa & Brian wanted to have a good time, relax, loose celebration of their wedding, in Bali. And that’s what they got. The celebration took place at the Villa Atas Ombak, where they and their friends & families had all privacy, a nice sand beach, beautiful sunset and tall palm trees.

Friendly, always happy couple Felicia and Yu Meng from Singapore are both doctors. Three weeks before the wedding Felicia flew to Yogyakarta (Middle Java) to help the victims of the earth quake just happened. Her family was understandably worried, but after all they were happy that Felicia came back in one piece to her wedding.

I think all people from Hong Kong are swimmer, and that they all love water very much. Every time I have a couple from Hong Kong, like this time Joyce and Kevin, they throw themselves (well, Joyce and Kevin were thrown) into the pool after dinner.

This is the kind of wedding where all you see are nice and extraordinary. The wedding took place above the spectacular cliff of Uluwatu. Kazuko, Japanese origin, and Jonathan, Australian origin, exchanged their vows on a specially prepared platform in the middle of the pool. We had one of the most spectacular sunset I’ve ever seen. They had even the traditional Balinese Kecak dance performed by some 30 dancers and one of the groomsmen, too.

Lovely couple Andrea & Roland from Austria (German practice for me :)…) got married very privately: Just the two of them, no one else. Okay, the priest was there. And me. And the wedding organizer. And several other people, you’re right. They had a romantic wedding dinner at a traditionally decorated gazebo by the Nusa Dua Beach. Just the two of them. Okay, a singer & an accoustic guitarist were also there. Yes, and also me, sneaking to take their pictures candidly…
